ABOUT THE CLINIC:

Dunwoody Urgent Care Clinic is a Georgia Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) owned solely by its creator, Dr. Casey Locarnini. Having spent many years in primary care medicine, and witnessing the strengths and weaknesses of several different healthcare systems, Dr. Locarnini has long had an interest in returning medical care to a more traditional, cash based, fee-for-service model. He feels strongly that such a model actually lowers the cost of medical care by promoting rational, judicious use of laboratory and radiographic studies and drastically reducing overhead. More importantly, by removing the restrictions and inefficiencies associated with third-party payors, the doctor-patient relationship is strengthened, and both doctor and patient alike are held more responsible for the outcome of treatment. As a physician with a keen interest in entrepreneurial opportunity, Dr. Locarnini feels that the best way to promote his vision for the future of primary care is to open his own clinic, and to lead the local medical community by example.
